Welcome to DAWCWR, Inc.

DAWCWR, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit animal clinic with the following goals:

  • Establish a low cost wellness center for the pets in the community. 
  • Rescue and transport sick, orphaned and injured wildlife in
    our area. 
  • Provide educational programs teaching the public about wildlife
    and proper animal care. 

At the end of the day, we want to offer a tangible example of compassion and humane ethics for all living creatures.

Love the Animals T-shirt Design

Love the Animals 5K Fun-Run Saturday, August 1

Join us Saturday, August 1 for the Love the Animals 5k Fun-Run. Registration before June 20 is $20 and includes a free t-shirt. After June 20, registration is $25 and does not guarantee a t-shirt. All run participants are entered to win door prizes and on the day of the race, participants dressed as their favorite animal have a chance to win a special prize! Download the registration form, fill out, and return to the DAWCWR, Inc. center.

Guess who is coming back?

    We are happy to announce that Amber will be with us again this summer! Last summer she was our intern, and this summer she is filling in as needed around the clinic. We can't wait to have her back in June!

Phase One of our x-ray machine fundraiser has come to an end, and we raised $1,310.00! Thank you to all who donated, your generosity is greatly appreciated. It is a wonderful first step towards getting the x-ray for the center.

Wildlife transportation volunteers needed

We are looking for volunteers to help transport injured and orphaned wildlife from the clinic to either the Raptor Center in St. Paul or the Wildlife Center in Roseville. A fuel stipend is available for those volunteers that need it. Please contact Barb at the clinic at 715-349-4774.
