AWC is a 501(c)3 non-profit veterinary clinic. What does that mean?
We exist to provide affordable veterinary care for your pets. This does not mean that we can do everything for free. Just like any other business, we still need to pay for our rent, utilities, equipment, supplies, people, etc. We don’t have the financial backing, resources, or staff that corporate-owned clinics do.
What it does mean is that we are able to partner with willing vendors to get products at reduced pricing, we can apply for grants to help fund projects, and we are able to set our own pricing and adjust based on need. We try to give back to the community through educational projects and financial assistance when we are able.
It also means that we rely on fundraising, grants, and donations to help keep us running. We have some incredibly generous clients who donate when they are able in order to help those who are in need.
What are ways that you can support AWC?
